Welcome!

Welcome to our website.  We hope you will see that in our very special School, the pupils come first!

At The Phoenix School, it's all about the children!

  •   Keeping them safe.
  •  Valuing them and giving them a voice.
  •  Enabling them all to Smile, Reach and Succeed.
By working in partnership with families and professionals and by being accountable to our challenging Governing Body, we are confident that The Phoenix School is a place where families feel supported, where children are accepted and where the progress made by pupils prepares them well for the next phase of their life.

Thank you for visiting our website.

For more information, please contact our school office and speak to Georgina, Ella or Lesley.

In the event of bad weather conditions...

How will I know if the Phoenix School is open?

In the event of an emergency school closure a member of staff from school will contact parents by text message (please ensure school has your up to date mobile phone number). However prior to this you can find out-

By checking the school website- www.phoenixschool.org.uk

By checking the Bradford Council website- www.bradford.gov.uk

By listening to your local radio station for updates- the Pulse (97.5 & 102.5 fm) or BBC Leeds (92.4 fm)

By contacting school on 01535 607038

How will I know if transport is running or has been cancelled?

In the event of bad weather (e.g. snow, ice) minibuses and taxis may not be able to reach school safely - especially as many of our families do not live on main roads.

Decisions regarding transport are always based on the safety and wellbeing of the children that are transported.

You can get up-to-date information by calling PTS transport service on:

PTS Minibus for children             01274 438889 or 01274 385591/92

PTS Home to School taxis           01274 436692

PTS Looked after children           01274 437927

Should you call these numbers you may receive a recorded message as the phone lines are likely to be extremely busy in such circumstances.

We would like to thank everybody who came to the Christmas Fair.

It was great to see staff, pupils, parents/carers, friends and family enjoying the festive event.

We raised a GIGANTIC    £2010.00

Well done to everyone for all their contributions and hard work!

A special thank you to all the parents, staff and friends to school who helped with preparation before the day and for all those who helped with setting up and running stalls.
